The Adler Stein Boarding and Training facility is located on three acres in beautiful Bouquet Canyon in
the city of Saugus, CA. Saugus is approximately 20 minutes north of the San
Fernando Valley, 40 minutes from Los Angeles. The kennel facility sits in a
valley surrounded by mountains and is five minutes down the road from the Angeles National Forest. Thus, it is accessible, yet secluded enough to provide
a true ranch-like and stress-free environment for the dogs. The property contains
a half acre training and exercise area complete with stadium lighting for
sessions in the evening.
Your dogs are given the same expert diet, care, love and attention as the dogs we raise.
We also can easily accommodate dogs with special dietary or medical needs. There is no extra charge
for dogs requiring special diets or medicine. |

This is one of three Climate controlled buildings on the property. This building houses seven heated and air conditioned
runs. There are four 10 x 22 foot runs including the inside area which is 4 x 10. These runs are $40.00 per dog, per day and $75.00 for two dogs sharing the run.
There are also three 7 x 22 foot runs including a 4 x 7 inside area. These runs are $30.00 per dog, per day and $55.00 per day for two dogs sharing the run. The building is fully insulated and climate controlled. |

This is another indoor/outdoor, climate controlled building. These runs are 10 x 20 with a 3x10 inside area. The building is heat and air conditioned. These runs are $40.00 per dog/per day. Two dogs sharing a run is $75.00 per day. Click

This is third climate controlled building. These climate controlled indoor/outdoor runs are 6 x 15 on the outside and 6 x 4 on the inside.
These runs are $30.00 per dog/per day with a $5.00 discount for two dogs
sharing the run. The rate for two dogs is $55.00 per day. |

We also offer extra large, indoor / outdoor runs in a beautiful, rustic setting. The
indoor/outdoor runs are 6 x 24 with a 6 x 12 indoor section and a partially
covered 6 x 12 outdoor area. These runs are not heated or air conditioned but do provide more shelter than our outdoor runs.

 10 x 10 Runs |
The outdoor runs are 10 x 10 and 6 x 10 runs. They are covered with metal barn
roofing and are completely shaded by the many pepper trees that run along the kennel area.
These runs are $20.00 per dog/per day with a $5.00 discount for dogs
sharing the same run. The price for two dogs is $35.00 per day. |

This is our half acre training and exercise yard complete with breathtaking mountain views. We offer exercise (either on the many trails surrounding our facility, or structured play on our training field) for $5.00 extra per session. |

The kennel is open for inspection by interested parties. We recommend that you inspect any boarding facility, including ours, before deciding to board your dog. Our clients have told us many horror stories of past boarding experiences with their pets. Not all kennels are equal, and for your enjoyment and peace of mind during your vacation or trip, we strongly encourage you to see the facility and meet the people who will be your dog's temporary guardians and care givers while you are away. If you wish to visit our kennels, please call for an appointment. |

The Adler Stein kennel runs are constructed
with top of the line, heavy-gauge fencing for your dog's safety.
All of the kennels have concrete or brick floors for cleanliness and safety for your dog.
Our runs are sanitized with quaternary disinfectant, the most effective cleanser available
to prevent the spread of any disease.
We do not have gravel runs as they are unsanitary, impossible to disinfect,
and the gravel often bruises or cuts the feet of active dogs.
We offer runs constructed with stainless-steel, 4 foot high privacy panels for those dogs that are
not social with other dogs. The kennel is designed with the safety and comfort of the dogs in mind.
During the spring and summer months,
we offer individual dog pools that easily fit into our spacious runs. For those dogs that love
water, this is a wonderful treat and amusement on a hot day.
We do not refuse dogs that display aggression as our local competitors do. With over 30 years experience handling and training many breeds, we are able to make any animal feel comfortable and safe during their stay here. Our staff is comfortable with dogs and we know how to reassure frightened or aggressive dogs.We will be happy to accommodate you. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations, including Bordetella, (Kennel Cough) |
All pets are accepted for boarding in accordance with California Civil Code Section 1834.5
California Civil Code 1834.5:
Abandoned Animals Notwithstanding any other provision of law, whenever any animal is delivered to any veterinarian, dog kennel, cat kennel, pet grooming parlor, animal hospital or any other animal care facility pursuant to any written or oral agreement entered into after the effective date of these section, and the owner of such animal does not pick up the animal within 14 calendar days after the animal was due to be picked up, the animal shall be deemed to be abandoned. The person into whose custody the animal was placed for care shall first try for a period of not less than 10 days to find a new owner for the animal, and if unable to place the animal with a new owner, shall thereafter humanely destroy the animal so abandoned.
